Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 2026
These guidelines apply to every athlete, club, academy, and agent on Athlinka.
Athlinka exists to give athletes a credible stage to be discovered, and to give clubs and agents a trusted way to find them. These guidelines keep that experience safe, fair, and useful for everyone. Breaking them can lead to content being removed, accounts being suspended, or — in serious cases — permanent bans and reports to the relevant authorities.
Respect each other
Keep it constructive
Coaching, critique, and rivalry are part of sport — but disagreements stay on the field. Speak to others the way you'd want a scout to speak to you.
No harassment or bullying
Targeted insults, threats, doxxing, sexual harassment, or coordinated pile-ons are not allowed. Repeated unwanted contact after someone asks you to stop is harassment.
No hate speech
Attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or serious illness will be removed and the account actioned.
Be who you say you are
Use your real identity
Athletes, agents, clubs, and academies must register with truthful information. Impersonating another person, club, or organisation is grounds for immediate removal.
One account per person or org
Don't run multiple accounts to inflate followers, manipulate visibility, or evade an action against your main account.
Honest stats only
Career history, measurements, and performance data on your profile must be accurate. Verified drill results are the only stats we publicly stand behind — don't pass off third-party numbers as Athlinka-verified.
Fair play
Sportsmanship comes first
Don't post content that celebrates injuring opponents, match-fixing, or any form of cheating.
Don't game verification
Drill submissions must be your own performance, recorded as instructed. Editing footage, swapping athletes, or otherwise faking a drill will void your verification and may result in a permanent ban.
Recruitment in good faith
Agents and clubs must comply with the rules of their league or federation when contacting athletes — especially minors. Do not promise outcomes you can't deliver.
Content we do not allow
No nudity or sexual content
Athlinka is a professional sports platform. Sexually explicit images, videos, or messages are not permitted, including in DMs.
No graphic violence
Real-world violence, gore, animal cruelty, and content glorifying weapons or self-harm will be removed.
No illegal activity
Drugs (including PEDs), trafficking, fraud, betting promotions targeting minors, and any other illegal content are prohibited.
No spam or scams
Don't flood feeds, mass-DM connect requests, run engagement-for-cash schemes, or post phishing links. Promotional content must be honest and clearly labeled.
Live streaming rules
Same rules, faster review
Everything in these guidelines applies to live streams. Because livestreams reach viewers instantly, our system can terminate a stream at any time and the broadcaster may face additional restrictions.
Minors on stream
Athletes under 18 may only stream training and match content. Streams must take place in appropriate settings and a parent or guardian should be aware.
Why streams get cut
Common termination reasons include nudity, graphic violence, hate symbols, and other policy violations. The reason is shown on the post-stream screen — repeated violations escalate to account suspension.
Protecting minors
Parental consent
Athletes under the age of consent in their country must have a parent or guardian's permission to use Athlinka and to engage with agents or clubs through the platform.
Zero tolerance
Any content that sexualises a minor, or any attempt to contact a minor for sexual or exploitative purposes, will be removed immediately, the account permanently banned, and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Intellectual property
Your content is yours
You keep ownership of what you upload. By posting, you grant Athlinka the rights needed to host, display, and promote it on the platform. See our Terms of Service for details.
Don't post what isn't yours
Don't upload match footage, broadcast clips, photos, music, or logos you don't own or have a license to use. Rights holders can request removal under our copyright process.
Reporting & enforcement
How to report
Use the three-dot menu on any post, comment, profile, or live stream to file a report. Choose the closest reason and add context — the more specific you are, the faster we can act.
What happens next
Depending on severity we may remove the content, warn the user, restrict features (e.g. live streaming), suspend the account, or permanently ban it. Severe violations are actioned without prior warning.
Appeals
If you believe we got an enforcement decision wrong, you can reply to the action notification or contact us through the Help page within 30 days.
Reporting concerns
If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, use the report button on any post, comment, or live stream. For urgent safety issues, contact our support team directly via the Help page.
